A friend of mine is raising a puppy for Canada Guide Dogs for the Blind. She will have Stout for 12 to 18 months when he will go back for specific guide dog training. He arrived yesterday – a 5 month old gangling black labrador retriever. He’s a very handsome dog and I look forward to documenting the next year of his life!
Sweet Daisy Pug was one of Jasmine’s earliest and longest fur friends. Sadly for us, Daisy passed on this week. She had a good life filled toys, other dogs, and many humans along the way. I was lucky to take many pictures of her over the years. Lot’s of love sweet Daisy – you will be missed.
Parker lost one leg many years ago, long before I met him the first time. He and his human moved away from the neighbourhood for a time, but have recently returned. Parker’s remaining rear leg is tired from doing the work of two legs and he’s now got shiny new wheels! He’s still getting used to them but no doubt he’ll master them quickly. It was great to see him (and his human) again. Great dog.
